We review the new Dell Inspiron 1318. We were fortunate enough to get our hands on one of these beauties. The new Dell Inspiron 1318 model, not to mention the blue candy coated shell, were a pleasure to behold. Lift the lid, and you can feel the new durable hinge construction that has been used on many of the Dell Studio and XPS models.
The interior glossy finish outlines the screen and the keyboard. Dell was wise to include a matte finish on the palm rest area where there would be less fingerprint residue.
A full size responsive keyboard, and lightning fast response when opening up programs will definitely make mobile computing a breeze. Built in Wireless capability allows users to connect anywhere without any extra hardware, and of course the built in WebCam above the screen, seems to becoming a standard on the latest Dell laptop models.
We were fortunate enough to test the new machine with all the specs listed, and while we do not know the much anticipated release date, probably around the Christmas holidays, we do expect many consumers to be pleased with the new Dell Inspiron 1318.
