Dell Inspiron Mini 9
The mini laptop from Dell, the Dell Insprion Mini 9, is one of the more popular netbooks to enter the race to consumers hearts (wallets?). The Dell mini is a very good laptop for easy mobility. A favorite among students and moms alike, the Dell mini laptop weighs in under 3 pounds, and easily slides into a backpack or a purse.
Overlook the limitation to Solid State Hard Drives, and there are no other real downsides to buying a Dell mini. Consider the Solid State Hard Drive to be a layer of security for your mobile mini. Solid State Hard Drives are more resistant to impact than the old rotating platters.
Dell mini buyers can choose from three different colors; Sapphire Blue, Obsidian Black, or Antique White. Whatever color you choose, the Dell mini will perform. The glossy lid stores the integrated webcam, making the dell mini ideal for video bloggers who need mobility.
The Intel Atom Processor is the workhorse behind the Dell netbook, the Inspiron Mini 9. Most netbooks utilitze the Atom processor to help extend battery life while still delivering processing power to the end user. While the Dell Mini may not be your laptop of choice for heavy number crunching, it will perform very well delivering multimedia, Internet videos, and task that don-t demand too much from the processor.
Overall the review of the Dell mini is more than satisfactory. I do know of a personal friend who already has a Sapphire Blue Dell Mini, which travels to Chicago at least once a month.
