Pros
I bought two laptops for my teenage children for
school and they are absolutely thrilled with the
funcitionality and ease of using the built in
software! We have a Dell desk top computer that
is a few years old and now are hoping to replace
it with a Dell laptop as well.
Additional Thoughts
The whole process from order to shipping and
receipt was easy and met all our expectations.

Title: Superb laptop - I love it! Date: March
20, 2008
Pros
This is a superb laptop and I'm really happy
with my choice, especially with the Bubblegum
Pink colour, it's actually better than I
expected - even my husband thought it was a cute
colour! It's quite light and slim compared to
other laptops of the same spec. I have opted for
the 15.4 screen and TrueLife Display which is a
glossy screen, which I am soooo pleased with.
Yes, I have to say that you can see reflections
depending on the lighting conditions i.e.
flurorescent lighting in offices but once you
have got used to it, you don't really notice
(unless you're just gonna sit there with a black
screen to admire yourself!). I was really
worried at first whether I had made the right
decision but I am so glad that I opted for
TrueLife. The colours of the display are so much
richer and vivid than a standard matte LCD
screen and for home use it is brilliant. They
keys are quite nice to use. It's quite quick
starting up and only took about 5 minutes to set
up. It's taking a little getting used to Vista,
but I'm getting there. I was so adamant that I
would stick to XP for many more years to come
because I had heard so many bad things about
Vista, but I have to say that I'm glad I decided
to just go for it. It's much faster and as with
any transition from one Operating System to
another - you just have to learn your way around
it.
Cons
There is some issue with wireless networking
when the Wi-Fi catcher states 'limited
connectivity' when it has powered up, but I have
found if I wait for about a few minutes to allow
it to 'warm up' then it is okay. The touchpad
seems to sometimes not work when tapping - this
may start to annoy me just a little, but other
than that I've no real complaints.
Additional Thoughts
I am very pleased with my choice and I would
really recommend this laptop to anyone (and I am
really fussy when it comes to laptops or
computers). The shipping was fast - I received
it within 4 days of ordering!! Do opt for 2GB
with Vista and Intel Core 2 Duo Processor though
as it is worth spending that little bit extra.
My only regret is that I didn't chose the
integrated webcam option (my boss had the same
model in Jet Black with the webcam and it is
absolutely fantastic I couldn't belieeeeve the
quality - it really is excellent). I've only had
mine a day but I know a good machine when I use
one! For the money, it is incredible value. Go
for it - you won't regret it.
