Let-s say you are a mobile laptop user. Always on the go, from airport to airport, your ever faithful laptop by your side. After typing for a minute, you feel your muscles getting sore. Lugging around the laptop takes its toll, while your forearm muscles may be toning up, this is not the workout you were looking for.
Online reviewers would suggest to try the new Toshiba Portege Laptops, touted as the lightest laptops on the market. If your budget can stand the base price of $1200 plus, then you may be a good candidate for the new lightweight Toshiba Portege.
Whether you select the R500, A600, R600, you can bank on more power per cubic pound. The Portege M750 however, does not make the same claims of being a lightweight laptop.
The lightweight models we took a look at were very much the same featurewise. Base models included a 5400 RPM Hard Drive, Fingerprint Reader, Webcam and microphone, and the Intel Media Graphics Accelerator to take full advantage of the world-s first indoor / outdoor transreflective LED-backlit display. According to the Toshiba Web Site, while outdoors, the Portege screen uses natural light to enhance the viewing image.
