Toshiba breaks ground on the relaunch with
Satellite Pro® A200 and Satellite Pro A210 notebook series
a new line of affordable business-essential notebooks for mobile professionals.
Toshiba claims "The new Satellite Pro A200 and Satellite Pro A210 series provide
business users with a mobile solution delivering all the essential features they need,
including fundamental performance and connectivity,at an economical price point.
The Satellite Pro series is also Toshiba’s first line of business notebooks
to feature configurations with AMD dual core processors2."
The new Toshiba Business Class of laptops will give customers the ability to choose
with AMD Dual Core or Intel Centrino Duo.
The Toshiba Satellite pro A200-EZ2204x touts
longer battery life along with enhanced wireless connectivity thanks to Intel Core 2 Duo processors,
and other Intel Technology for more effecient use of power. The Intel package will also
make use of the Mobile Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X3100.
On the AMD side, Toshiba reports that using AMD Turion 64X2 or AMD Athlon Dual Core processors,
will provide customers with the same level of performance, with no mention of the power efficiency
using the AMD M690V chipset and Atheros 802.11b/g Wireless. The AMD Package comes with ATI Radeon X1200 Graphics.
The Satellite Pro series will all use a 15.4inch diagonal TruBrite Screen, encased in a distinctive
Onyx Blue Chassis. Prices start as low as $529.00 and can range up to $1100.00
